1994 Directed by David Carson; Scenario by Rick Berman Data installs his emotion chip and experiences hate, humor, remorse. At first he can't cope with these emotions, but in the end, after a lecture by Captain Picard and after experiencing 261 emotional states, he is able to integrate them into his personality.
