1935 AstoundingIntelligent machine, Gaht, made by another machine. Demonstrates its own will in that it decides to leave the planet. Does all the work, produces food, regulates the weather. People have become dependent on it. The machine, alien in origin, is worshipped as a God, both on its home planet and on earth. Offers are made to it.
